Office Rules

The goal of Fantasy Rodeo is to create a team consisting of eight pro riders that will win the most cash during all rounds and the average at the National Finals Rodeo.  This is the total cash earned by each of the team's pro riders combined.

Users will select one pro rider in each of the following eight categories:

  1. Bareback Riding
  2. Steer Wrestling
  3. Team Roping (Header)
  4. Team Roping (Heeler)
  5. Saddle Bronc Riding
  6. Tie-Down Roping
  7. Barrel Racing
  8. Bull Riding

Each category has 15 pro riders from the NFR qualifiers.  Users are given 600 credits to purchase pro riders.  A pro rider's standing at the beginning of the National Finals Rodeo determines the amount of credits they cost to purchase.  Pro rider's credit costs are as follows:

  1. 150 - Credits
  2. 140 - Credits
  3. 130 - Credits
  4. 120 - Credits
  5. 110 - Credits
  6. 100 - Credits
  7. 90 - Credits
  8. 80 - Credits
  9. 70 - Credits
  10. 60 - Credits
  11. 50 - Credits
  12. 40 - Credits
  13. 30 - Credits
  14. 20 - Credits

Tie Breakers

Users are asked to predict estimated earnings for a single, winning round when creating a team.  In the event of a winner's tie, the user with the closest prediction is the winner.  If two users tie and have the same prediction, they will split the earnings/prizes.  Example: Bob Smith and Jon Doe select the same teams and both win the first round with $90,000 in team earnings.  Bob Smith predicted $100,000 in earnings and Jon Doe predicted $110,000 in earning.  That makes Bob Smith the winner because his prediction is closer than Jon Doe's.  If Bob Smith and Jon Doe both predicted $100,000, they would split the earnings/prizes.
